Flat J adventure continues...

Another great post from Auntie Alisa and Uncle Lawrence in Scotland.  It is amazing how a piece of paper can bridge the distance between us.

More Flat Jayden in Scotland!

Over the weekend, we had a lot of fun outside with Flat Jayden. He went rock climbing with us, strolled on the beach and also did some hillwalking, a very popular activity in our area. He was a natural at climbing – he didn’t even need to put his drink down! You can see how high he is in the photo by how small his Uncle Lawrence looks below. Later on, he played “fetch” with our dog Roxy on the beach.

Hillwalking is exactly as it sounds: walking up hills! Sometimes it takes several hours to reach the top but it’s always worth it for the views. Having good footwear is important for the steep hills so we made sure that Flat Jayden had some good boots before we set off.

Luckily we had beautiful clear skies that day but often it can be quite rainy here in Scotland. The good thing about rain though, is how well everything grows! It stays green year round. Good thing Flat Jayden brought his flat umbrella for a walk around the garden!
Finally, we finish off with one of Scotland’s most precious things… a delicious cup of tea! It seems like everyone here loves this hot drink, especially when it’s served with a fresh baked dessert.
We started this adventure off with cake and we’ll finish with cake, Flat Jayden! Thanks for visiting us. We had so much fun with you. I think we’ll keep you! Lots of love from your Aunty Alisa and Uncle Lawrence.
