We rescued her, she was a feral kitten that had a broken leg. She was nursed back to health at her foster family and then adopted out to us.

Mochi is Jayden's best friend and sleeps with him every night. One night as I was putting Jayden to bed, he says to me, "Thank you Mama, Mochi is the best present ever!". Then he added, "I'm not lonely anymore." Melted my heart and made me cry (and I thought to myself, I will become a crazy cat lady with 100 cats if it makes him happy).
Awwww...
